I don’t know what was happening but all I could see was a green glow where ever I looked there was no escaping it. I kept trying to budge my hand of the emerald. That’s when Knuckles appeared he was shielding his eyes from the light and slowly making his way up to me. Grabbing my wrist he pulled my hand away and pushed me to the floor, then he placed his hand where mine had just been before and the master emerald once again became dull.
